PROBLEMA CON GT3 MARKII BAOFENG

Hola,
tengo un problema me ha llegado hoy un Baofeng GT3 MArk II, la verdad que de aspecto y tal una maravilla, bueno pues me puesto a conectarlo al pc para programar con el cable USB y el chirp, ya que ya tenia un baofeng uv5 , bueno el kit d ela cuestión, me lo a copiado en el nuevo las frecuencias y digo va que bien ya esta jajaja, m epongo a probarlo y resulta que puedo transmitir y me oyen pero cuando me estan hablando no escucho nadad, alguien que controle y me pueda decir que he podido hace mal

Hola buenas: Seguro que sabes mucho más que yo de esto, yo soy supernovato. Lo único que te puedo decir es que yo también llevo una semana con un GT-3 PT Mark III, y como el manual de instrucciones viene en Inglés y Chino voy más que perdido. Yo me ayudo de tutoriales de YouTube que "igual" te pueden ayudar a ti mírate el de "Cómo scanear Subtonos"
Yo ahora estoy con un problema que quizá tú me puedas ayudar y es el siguiente: Hace unos días memoricé dos frecuencias bien sin problemas pero después me puse a toquitear lo que me decían los Tutoriales y ahora no consigo memorizar ninguna frecuencia porque al llegar al último número me vuelve a la frecuencia que tenía. Ej. Si tengo la 446.550 y quiero ponerle la 445.600, cuando llego al último número me lo vuelve a dejar al que estaba anteriormente. Yo sigo los pasos que veo en los videos de YouTube pero veo que hay una ligera diferencia y es la siguiente: en la parte superior encima de los dígitos numéricos en el video aparece una S y una N y en mi walki aparece una L y una N. Ahí veo la diferencia que no entiendo. Tampoco consigo Scanear frecuencia bueno hoy lo he hecho sin saber como y luego he intentado hacerlo de nuevo y nada.
¿Alguién me puede echar una mano?? que no sea al cuello. jejeje
¿Sabéis algún manual que pueda ayudar de este aparato o de alguno similar?? Algún video en you tube ??

Bueno gracias, hoy voy a hacer una cosilla que se me ha ocurrido jejeje, como estoy en varios foros voy a mandar un S.O.S a ver si por casualidad hay algún colega por ellos; que entiendan algo y tengan tiempo y me quieran ayudar y si no hay nadie. Efectivamente aplicaré la opción 40.

El problema de tu mkIII tiene toda la pinta de ser de firmware. Si has intentado grabarle uno que no le corresponde te dará error. Aunque los walkies parezcan iguales, los firmwares pueden ser diferentes e incompatibles.

Hablamos siempre de utilizar el programa CHIRP y de seleccionar el modelo UV5R.

Y ante todo yo comenzaría por resetear el walky a estado de fábrica y empezar desde cero. (menu->40)

Erratic Behavior and Recovery


Note: If you have a UV5R/F8HP series radio with N5R-20 or N5R-30 firmware and experience:
- Receiver is muted or
- Programmed with CHIRP and radio stopped working, go to

Erratic behavior due to Corrupt Memory
Some UV5Rs have experienced erratic behavior due to Corrupt Memory.

If a MENU 40 Reset does not resolve the issue, a reload of the original software may be required. Much like the OS on your PC, resetting the Parameters may only be part of the resolution. This restores the radio's fundamental software.

Some of these behavior include, but are not limited to:
Transmitter Lockout
Receiver Lockout
Erratic Channel Changes
Radio could not shift into Reverse mode when programming
Channel 0 keeps changing back to default 136.025
Menus 10, 11, 12, 13 are set to OFF, but CT/DCS shows ON

In many cases, the cause of these errors is not known, but the cure is to load a good fresh initial software image back into memory.

The procedures are described below.


Recovery using CHIRP Software
Unknown Firmware Release

(1) Load the latest CHIRP Daily Developmental Build software.

(2) From the CHIRP top toolbar, select
"Radio/Download from Radio" to create a current image.

(3) Save this image file for future reference.
i.e. BFBxxx_NO_TX.img

(4) From the CHIRP left side toolbar, select
"Settings / Other_Settings"

(5) The top shaded areas labeled "Firmware Message" 1 and 2 will show the firmware version of your radio.


If FW Message 1 contains "VER",
then Message 2 contains the firmware version
If FW Message 1 does not contain "VER",
then Message 1 contains the firmware version

Firmware Message 1 [ VER ]
Firmware Message 2 [ BFB231 ] <--- F/W version

Firmware Message 1 [ BFB301 ] <--- F/W version
Firmware Message 2 [ BFB297 ]

(6) Go to the KC9HI CHIRP Recovery site and Download / Save the fresh Recovery image (.img) file that corresponds to your radio's firmware version.

(7) From the CHIRP top toolbar, select "Radio/Upload to Radio" to upload the fresh Recovery image your radio.
Your radio is now set to its original factory settings.


You will now need to Copy and Paste the channel information from the old (non-working) image file to the fresh Recovery image template and upload the New template to your radio.

Do Not upload your old image file to your new radio or you will be restoring the bad image.


Recovery using CHIRP Software
Firmware N5R-20 / 30

Required if a UV5R image with prior firmware is loaded to one with the new N5R-20 / 30 firmware using a version of CHIRP prior to 7-17-2014.

This can be easily recognized by the N5R-20/30 radio blocking all incoming signals unless the MONI button is pressed.
Note: Menu 40 Reset will Not resolve this.

(1) Download CHIRP Daily Build 7-14-2014
This older version of CHIRP is required for this recovery procedure.
After the Recovery, the Latest Daily Build needs to be reloaded. This will prevent the error from reoccurring.

(2) Go to the KC9HI CHIRP Recovery site and Download / Save the fresh Recovery image (.img) file that corresponds to your radio's firmware version. (N5R-20 - N5R-30)

(3) From the CHIRP top toolbar, select "Radio/Upload to Radio" to upload the fresh Recovery image your radio.

It is possible under certain conditions that CHIRP will display the following "Error" message:


Don't worry. CHIRP hasn't crashed. The recovery was successful, so continue...

Your radio is now set to its original factory settings.

You will now need to Copy and Paste the channel data from the old (non-working) image file to the fresh Recovery image template and upload the New template to your radio.

Do Not upload your old image file to your new radio or you will be restoring an incompatible image.

Recovery using the Factory Software

Firmware BFB291 and later

Required when an attempt to load 220MHz factory software to a standard VHF/UHF radio is performed.


(1) Run VIP factory software v12.07.25

(2) Open the "Other" tab at the top of the page.

(3) From within that screen, Select READ

(4) Select: "More than 480MHz to allow transmit"
Work Band should be 136-174 / 400-520 MHz

(5) Select: WRITE

- The TX function will be restored.
- Frequency data will not be changed.

Depending on the cause of the TX Lock Out, all menu items may restore to factory settings. (i.e.. Voice=CHI, etc)

Restoring your radio from your last good VIP or CHIRP backup will reset these menu functions.

Some VIP software allows the Band or Other tabs to change the UHF programming range to the 200-260MHz and beyond.

Note: Unless your UV5R is designed for 150/220 MHz operation, the UV5R is NOT capable of operation on these frequencies.
