Problema con el cable y mi Icom IC-R5

Hola hoy he recibido un cable que compré por ebay a un chino, concretamente este http://cgi.ebay.es/USB-CI-V-CAT-INTERFAE-CABLE-for-ICOM-CT-17_W0QQitemZ110191000969QQihZ001QQcategoryZ48704QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem y cuando lo he conectado y he abierto el programa CS-R5 (creo que se llama asi), no me reconoce mi escaner y solo me daja poner puertos Com y el cable va por USB.

¿Que puedo hacer para que funcione???

Pues creo que, en el enlace que has puesto lo pone muy claro ...USB-CI-V-CAT-..., nuestro R5 no viene preparado para control CAT, hay que manejarlo "a mano".
Lo que si permite a traves de ordenador es el manejo de los bancos de memoria, bordes de rastreo, etc. Y para eso necesitas otro dipo de cable. Quiza te oriente algo, lo que dicen en Radiocenter: Opcionamelte se puede conectar al PC mediante el cable de programación OPC-478U para su uso con puerto USB ó OPC-478 para puertos RS-232.

...Te servirá para cuando te compres un Icom de gama mas alta...

Yo como no entiendo inglés y vi que ponía para IC-R5, pues pensé que me valdría, pero parece ser que no puedo hacer nada con este

En este caso parece ser que te haría falta esto:

Como no ha sido mi caso, no se si estarán disponibles en algún lado.
